BOMA Approves Unified Development Code

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) on Monday, August 20, approved the City of Spring Hill’s new Unified Development Code (UDC), a consolidated book of development regulations nearly two years in the making, designed for Spring Hill’s long-term future growth. The UDC will be presented to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) in a special called meeting on July 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the courtroom at City Hall.

(Please note, an additional change was made on May 30, 2018 regarding the design standards for two-family and three-family dwellings in Article 8. The change is highlighted in the document.)

 

UDC Redline May 2018 Draft Available for Review

A new redline draft of the Spring Hill Unified Development Code (UDC) is available for public review. This newest draft was prepared by Camiros following the Planning Commission’s special-called session on April 30th. The draft accepts the previous draft’s redline changes and highlights those additional changes requested by the Planning Commission at the April meeting. (Please note that simple grammatical and formatting errors are not highlighted.) In addition, a memorandum is included that outlines the changes redlined in this draft. The proposed Zoning Map is also provided. This draft will be reviewed at the Spring Hill Municipal Planning Commission Regular Meeting on Monday, May 14, 2018.

All comments were catalogued and reviewed by both Spring Hill staff and the Planning Commission in a special-called public session held on March 22, 2018.
